The school’s spring concerts will take place at Grafarvogur Church this Saturday, May 9, at 11:00, 12:30, and 14:00. The program will feature a variety of ensemble pieces that students have worked on throughout the year, as well as solo performances. Looking ahead, the school has many concerts coming up. The preschool department will perform at spring festivals in their respective neighborhoods, and there will also be numerous concerts held in the school’s concert hall.

Nótan, uppskeruhátíð tónlistarskólanna verður haldin víðsvegar um land þann 12. og 18. apríl. Tónlistarskólarnir í Reykjavík verða með opið hús í Ráðhúsi Reykjavíkur þann 18. apríl milli 11:00 og 15:30. Þrennir tónleikar verða yfir daginn kl. 11:00, 13:00 og 14:30. Tónlistarskólarnir kynna sig og bjóða upp á upp smiðjur og samtal.

The Upbeat (Upptakturinn) is a collaboration project between Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre, Reykjavik Children's Culture, Iceland University of the Arts, RÚV - The Icelandic National Broadcasting Service and Reykjavik Music City. Candidates can send their ideas by 22nd February.
