Winter break at the music school is from October 22 to October 29. Classes will resume according to the regular schedule on Thursday, October 30. We encourage you to use the break to spend quality time with your instrument and parents can read the Parent Handbook.

Tónskólinn í Reykjavík has added a stunning new grand piano to its performance hall, marking an exciting milestone for students and faculty alike. The instrument will serve as the centerpiece for concerts, recitals, and masterclasses. Teachers say the piano’s rich tone and dynamic range will not only enhance performances but also provide students with valuable experience playing on a professional-level instrument. With the arrival of the grand piano, the music school hopes to elevate its reputation as a hub for musical education and performance.
